The Heart of Sparkle and Light

  
Hey there,

This space was birthed from my fascination with glitter, and my love of love. For many years I had a habit of ‘sending a little sparkle’ to the people I care about. It was my way of saying hey, I am sending some extra love your way today. One day as I sat and thought about glitter and the way these little specs of sparkle end up in the most expected places, I began to think about love in the same context. When you experience, and are filed with genuine love. It spills out on everything and everyone, and is often found in the most unexpected places. You truly can't help but see it, feel it, and reflect it. 

With that being said, glitter isn't the only thing that sparkles or shines. Lights, jewels, glass, and flames reflect light and heat on the objects around them. Under the right circumstances some jewels reflect light in such a way that it sparks a flame. A thus the idea of Sparkle and Light was born. 

Just as a spark is a small fiery particle thrown off of a larger flame. So are we an offshoot of our heavenly father. As I navigate the world around me, I want always to reflect the love and light that the heavenly father has shone on and poured into me. I want my daily life with him to be one that exemplifies his love, compassion, and warmth in a way that is both contagious and encouraging. I want to be a practical example of what it means to be his hands and feet. I want always to be the spark that ignites the world around me.
